World Changing Products

Our objective is to provide our stakeholders - from decision-makers to engineers - with a palpable sense of the future conveying the impact of emerging technologies and geopolitical shifts on DOD operations.

Innovative process

We use the techniques of TV writers rooms to quickly build narratives & prototypes of future concepts that are grounded in emerging technologies and geopolitical situations.

World's best creatives

We are a collective of visionaries. Our team includes the sharpest, most well-regarded writers, producers, scientists, analysts, designers, futurists, innovators, and academics in the world.

The fleet writers room is the premier solution for department of defense challenges: A fusion of storytelling, design and strategic analysis.

Storytelling

Effective storytelling demands discipline. FWR uses narrative techniques, film, and graphic novels to distill future system interactions, UX, and tactical factors. Sea Strike, our acclaimed short film, showcases advanced tech and tactics in a 2043 naval battle. It’s complemented by a graphic novel series exploring geopolitics and future tech.

Design

First-principle guided design efforts lead to groundbreaking solutions. FWR’s design endeavors span diverse domains, encompassing command centers, immersive experiences, and visionary prototypes for airframes, unmanned platforms, missiles, and cutting-edge human-machine interfaces. FWR currently supports the Navy’s Force Design 2045 effort and Naval Aviation.

Strategic Analysis

Strategic analysis is implicit and explicit in everything we do. By creating a holistic understanding, clear communication, scenario exploration, innovation, risk assessment, alignment, and long-term planning. Together, they empower decision-makers to make effective strategic choices. Our analysts hail from the very highest echelon institutions.
